About Me and This Blog
May 28, 2008 by treetmd
I am a trained museum and history person; passionate about children and education. Crazy about creativity, squirrels, harpsichords, traditions. Currently, I live in Northern Virginia and work at a digital humanities center on a website for history educators. I live in a digital age, but belong in Paris during the Belle Epoque or a seaside town during the 1920s.
I have never landed in Cairo with designer luggage, traversed the Great Wall of China, drank mint tea in Morroco, fiesta’ed in South America, or napped in lavender fields in southern France. That is yet to come. I have been awakened on a train along a misty river on my way to Prince Edward Island; kept notebooks full of poetry; meandered a Manhattan high line, thick with weeds; spontaneously driven to the ocean; made snow angels during a lake-effect blizzard; fulfilled more than one dream.
This blog is a way for me to sit back and reflect on the world around me, especially when it comes to keeping writing and creativity a part of my everyday. It also puts me in touch with dozens of other bloggers who are creating magnificent worlds around them. Enjoy,
Teresa
